Eiffage pens its fourth PPP for the Campus Plan
Eiffage, through its Concessions division, signed a public-private partnership agreement with the University of Aix-Marseille on 6 May as part of the “Aix-Faculties District” Campus project.
Following a competitive consultation process, an Eiffage-led consortium was selected as preferred bidder to take charge of the financing, design, construction and renovation of this major facility for the University of Aix-Marseille, followed by its maintenance for 25 years.
“Aix-Faculties District” is a massive property development project on a regional planning scale, covering an area of 45,500 sq. m. and representing a total investment of nearly €120 million including tax. It concerns 30,000 students.
The banking partners backing the project are Banco Santander, Mizuho Bank. Ltd and NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank.
The project’s design and construction phase is being conducted by a consortium made up of Eiffage Construction and Eiffage Energie in partnership with architectural firms CARTA Associés, Tangram Architectes and Espace Architecture International.
