Launching of the Dakar-Diamniadio motorway
The Senegalese President Abdulaye Wade and Eiffage's Chairman and CEO Jean-François Roverato were there while the second stage of the Dakar-Diamniadio motorway was launched on February 12th.
The Société Eiffage de la Nouvelle Autoroute Concédée (Senac) carries out the project as part of a 30-year concession. The new motorway should render access to the capital easier, and lead to the new international airport currently under construction in Ndiass. One part of the motorway is currently being built, and Eiffage will provide it with toll equipment. The other still remains to be made wholly. The new motorway should open to users in 2013.
