The Grand Stade Lille Métropole stadium, a partner for employment
An employment partnership agreement covering the various proposed measures was signed on July 2nd by all the partners involved in the project.
The site then welcomed some 25 form-setter/finishers and tower crane operators – specialisations that are in high demand in the job market and which should lead to stable employment in the future – who were starting their professional training at the site.
The partnership contract allows for 116,000 hours of professional training, which is the equivalent of 64 full time jobs over one year.
A site open to the general public
The signing of the agreement also provided an opportunity to visit the public reception area of the Grand Stade Lille Métropole stadium, which showcases the site and its partners ahead of the official opening to the public.
The reception area, with 240m² of display panels, a model of the future stadium, interactive media stands and a terrace overlooking the entire site, will welcome both professional and private groups.
It will enable the residents of Lille to become familiar with their stadium, well before its completion, by following the various stages of its construction.
